“Had a fabulous dinner with my teenage daughter last night. The entire staff was very friendly and attentive, especially our Australian waiter, who was extremely personable, knowledgeable and helpful in explaining how each dish was prepared, making recommendations for wine pairings, and most of all, involving my daughter in the conversation.

For appetizers, my daughter enjoyed the Braised Pork Arancini, and I had the Escargot in a Bone which was amazing...I'm a big fan of Escargot and I've never had it prepared so uniquely. For our mains, my daughter had the Bison Short Ribs which were fantastic, and I ordered two more appetizers with the Gnocchi Poutine with 24 hour braised Elk (I was in the mood to explore something new, and was rewarded), and the Scallops with crispy spatzle. All of the dishes were full of flavor and hearty for such a cold evening. I would highly recommend The Bison Restaurant and plan to return the next time we visit Banff.”
